The Project Management Fundamentals course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Students will learn how to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects effectively while managing resources, stakeholders, and risks to achieve project objectives successfully.

Course Objective:

The primary objective of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage projects efficiently and effectively. By the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Understand the principles and concepts of project management, including project lifecycle, stakeholders, and project constraints.
  2. Apply project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches to plan and execute projects.
  3. Develop project charters, scope statements, and work breakdown structures (WBS) to define project objectives and deliverables.
  4. Create project schedules, allocate resources, and manage project budgets using project management tools and techniques.
  5. Identify and analyze project risks, develop risk management plans, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
